In the movie Knowing, starring Nicolas Cage (also starring in Bangkok Dangerous) and Rose Byrne, disasters happen which are supposed to be based on something written into a time capsule in a school.One of these disasters is that of a plane crashing near a highway. As the plane approaches, it breaks down power lines across a bridge, but it's really too far away to snag. You can compare the relative size of the plane to the trucks on the bridge. The power lines are really too close for the plane to hit them too soon. Notice in the third still that one of the power lines that should have snapped is still untouched.
